Its temperature was very stable, with the upper and middle shelves only changing by a few degrees each side of their normal and the salad drawer was at a brisk 2oC. Like the SR11010, the fridge needs an occasional manual defrost but is rated A+ for energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient freezers for fridges in our Best Buy chart, keeping your electric bills to a minimum.

This is a great example of how Swan can offer attractive retro designs at a very affordable cost. The SR11010 looks fantastic and is available in a wide spectrum of colours, from the soft pastel blue we tested to more dramatic red, pink and orange. It's frost-free and it's also quiet. It's a solid all-rounder however you must examine it against other fridge freezers in our Best Buy table to make sure you purchase the best appliance for your home.
